Family photos are always fun to photograph for me because the family gives me a look into their lives and who they really are when it is just them. That is when I capture the best photos, when the family forgets I am there for a second and lets their true personality show.

Some advice...
If you have little babies plan the time of your session around them! If they are happy we all will be happy but if they end up not being happy don't get upset or embarrassed. The majority of the time the little ones don't want to be there or be happy.
Outfit coordination is KEY. Keep everything simple! Clothes with patterns or a lot of colors tends to become very distracting so keep it simple.
